HOW DOES SCULPTRA COMPARE TO OTHER INJECTABLE TREATMENTS?
Unlike injectables such as Botox, which softens fine lines and wrinkles, or fillers, which add volume and definition to the face, Sculptra focuses more on stimulating collagen production.
HOW MANY INJECTIONS WILL I NEED?
Most patients will need one vial of Sculptra per side of their face. It will depend on the surface area of the patient’s face, the desired areas being treated, as well as the age of the patient.
WHEN WILL I START TO SEE RESULTS?
Within a few days, you’ll look like you did before treatment as the injected water is absorbed, leaving behind Sculptra to stimulate collagen production. Results develop gradually over the following months.
HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
At 3 months post-treatment, results will be at 33% potential. By 6 months, patients will see the full treatment potential. These results can last up to 2 years.
WHAT IS THE POST-TREATMENT CARE FOR SCULPTRA?
To evenly distribute Sculptra post-treatment, patients should massage the area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days following the treatment.
